About this diorama
The Industrial Warehouse is the biggest thing in the Shou Cang Jia industrial range, and the numbers say it plainly: 20.5 cm tall and 2,005 g. That's the same weight as the multi-story parking garage, and more than twice the warehouse-street-view piece. If you have ever picked up a hollow diorama and been disappointed by how light it felt, this is the answer to that — the mass is the material.
At 29.5 x 19.7 x 20.5 cm it keeps the standard footprint width but adds serious height. Where most storefronts top out around 11–14 cm, this one is 20.5 cm — closer to an A5 envelope standing up than a book lying flat. That height is what makes it read as a real industrial building rather than a facade.
Height is what you're buying
The case for this piece over the smaller warehouse scenes is verticality. A 20.5 cm structure has a roofline you look up at, and the interior volume to show storage racking, mezzanine levels or structural framework rather than just a single bay. Park a car on the floor and the building still towers above it — which is exactly how an industrial warehouse feels in reality.
The trade-off is placement. A 20.5 cm piece does not slide under a low shelf, and it can't sit beneath a monitor riser. It needs a surface with clear height above it: an open desk, a dedicated shelf with an empty row above, or a display cabinet. If your display plan is "tuck it under something," this isn't the piece — the 13 cm warehouse variants are.
The weight, honestly
2,005 g is a real consideration in two ways. On the shelf it's a positive: the piece is stable, doesn't shift when you set a car down, and feels like an object rather than a model kit. In shipping it's a cost: a 2 kg parcel in a large double-walled carton is not a cheap freight item, and that's materials rather than markup.
Worth knowing before ordering if you're outside the main shipping lanes. The piece itself justifies the weight — it's resin, fiberboard and plastic throughout, with no hollow shell — but the freight line on the invoice will reflect it.
Cars and clearance
True 1/64 models fit everywhere in this scene. Mini GT, Inno64, Tarmac Works and Kaido House run 6.8–7.4 cm long and stay under 2.2 cm tall, which clears the bay openings and any covered section without difficulty.
Hot Wheels mainline castings are roughly 1/62–1/68 and can reach 2.4 cm. In a building with a 20.5 cm roofline you have plenty of interior height, so the usual enclosed-garage concern is much less of an issue here — the extra 2 mm on a mainline casting will clear a warehouse bay far more easily than it would a low parking deck. If your collection is mixed, this is one of the more forgiving enclosed pieces.
What arrives, and what doesn't
It ships in a sealed colour box inside a double-walled outer carton with foam corner protection. No assembly, no glue, no instructions — it displays straight out of the box. On a 20.5 cm piece with structural detail at the roofline, the outer packaging matters: those upper edges are the first thing to take damage in transit if a parcel is handled badly.
Cars and figures aren't included. Scenes ship bare so collectors place their own models; figures are separate (G-Fans, MoreArt and similar). An industrial warehouse looks convincing with two or three cars on the floor and a figure or two, but it also works with one — the building carries the scene on its own. If you own nothing yet, one model is the minimum to make it feel inhabited.

Gift Angle
This is the piece to buy for someone whose collection has outgrown a shelf and is heading toward a display cabinet. It's also a strong gift for anyone who has complained, even jokingly, that model buildings feel cheap — the 2 kg weight answers that complaint the moment they pick up the box.
It's less of a safe bet for someone with no collection at all, because a 20.5 cm building needs space and a few cars to feel right. For a collector with a shelf already in use, it's the upgrade piece that immediately makes the display read as planned rather than accumulated.

Ships in 7–14 business days via tracked international shipping. Import duty is prepaid at checkout for the United States, the European Union, Turkey and Indonesia, so nothing further is due at delivery for those destinations; all other destinations ship duty-unpaid. Read the full shipping guide →
Frequently asked questions
Does this diorama fit 1/64 scale diecast cars?
Yes, and it's one of the more forgiving enclosed pieces because of the interior height. True 1/64 models — Mini GT, Inno64, Tarmac Works, Kaido House — fit everywhere. Hot Wheels mainline castings at roughly 1/62–1/68 and up to 2.4 cm tall clear the bays more easily here than in a low parking deck.
How much space does it need?
Roughly 29.5 x 19.7 cm of surface and a clear 20.5 cm of height, plus a little extra above the roofline so it isn't visually crowded. That height is the constraint — it needs an open shelf, a desk, or a cabinet rather than a slot under something.
Is it heavy enough to be a problem?
At 2,005 g it's the heaviest piece in the industrial range. On a shelf that's an advantage — it's stable and feels substantial. In shipping it adds freight cost, because a 2 kg parcel in a large protective carton is a real freight item rather than a light envelope.
Is assembly required?
No. It arrives ready to display, sealed colour box inside a double-walled outer carton. Nothing to glue or slot together.
What's included in the box?
The Industrial Warehouse scene in Sealed Color Box Packaging. Cars and figures are not included and are sold separately.
Warehouse or parking garage — which is the better large piece?
It depends on what you want to look at. The parking garage shows cars stacked and displayed across levels; the warehouse shows a building with volume and storage architecture, where cars occupy the floor. If your pleasure comes from seeing cars, the garage does more. If it comes from the architecture, the warehouse does. Both are around 2 kg and 20+ cm tall, so the space requirement is similar.
