MINI GT Lamborghini Silhouette #1314 1/64 Diecast Model

Updated: October 2026

Grey MINI GT Lamborghini Silhouette in 1/64: a flat, angular wedge with a large black rear wing and small red graphics scattered across a pale grey body.

US$28.99 ● In stock · Fast dispatch

At true 1/64 the body measures roughly 7.2 cm long and about 2.1 cm tall, and that height figure is deceptive because most of it is the wing. The roof itself sits lower than that, and the cabin is small relative to the body — a narrow greenhouse with a sharply raked screen and a flat rear deck behind it. The front end is very low and wide, with a long black splitter running the full width and a pair of slim intake slots either side of the centre. Lamp covers are clear and slim, set flush into the body.

About this model

Grey, not white. The Silhouette wears a light warm grey that most people would call off-white until they see it next to something actually white, and the whole car is built from flat panels with hard creases rather than the rounded curves you might expect from the badge. This is a wedge: a low nose, a straight beltline, an almost vertical rear end, and a wing so large it changes the car's proportions. Everything except the glazing, the wheels and the wing is the same shade of grey.

A grey car covered in small red marks

The livery here is subtle and it takes a moment to read. Against the grey, almost every graphic is black, white or red, and the red marks are small: a star insignia on each door, a red triangle on the rear quarter, a red banner on the front bumper, and a scatter of tiny red script along the nose and the sills. Because the base is grey rather than a bold colour, those red accents do most of the visual work, and the car looks restrained from a distance but busy up close.

The largest graphic runs along the lower door and sill: a black band carrying white block lettering and a number, plus a second line of smaller script below. Above it on the door sits the star insignia, and the front wing carries a small rectangular badge. The nose has its own set of marks — a script logo on the bonnet leading edge, small badges on the bumper corners, and a manufacturer's mark on the lower splitter. The mirrors are black. There is a script banner across the top of the windscreen.

Wheels are black multi-spoke with a distinctive deep dish, wrapped in tyres with white lettering on the sidewalls, and there is a small red detail at the centre of each wheel. The wing is the loudest element on the car: black, mounted on two uprights, with white lettering across the top surface and a red triangle graphic on each endplate. Under the tail there is a black diffuser with visible vertical fins and a pair of round lamp clusters set into a black panel, with a small script badge between them.

Grey reads best against a dark or textured scene

A pale grey car disappears on a pale grey base, so this one needs contrast underneath and behind it. The Corner Izakaya at 29.7 x 20 x 13 cm is the strongest pairing in the range: the night-street scene gives a dark backdrop, and grey bodywork against dark timber and signage makes the red accents pop in a way they simply do not on a light floor. The 20 cm depth also fits the car with room to place it at an angle so the wing and the sill lettering both face forward.

The Container Auto Repair Garage, 29.7 x 19.7 x 14.5 cm, is the second option and the more thematic one. A GT-style car with a full aero kit belongs in a workshop context, and the enclosed garage gives you walls to bounce light off the flat grey panels. It is also tall enough at 14.5 cm that the wing never comes close to the roof. Avoid the open parking lots for this one: a large expanse of light-coloured deck under a pale grey car flattens the whole scene, and the model loses its outline.

What is in the box and what will not move

Sealed colour box only. No display case, no figures, no base. The casting is sealed throughout: no opening panels, no steerable wheels, no removable parts. On a car with this much flat surface area, the lack of an opening rear deck is noticeable, because the engine bay on the real car is one of its defining features and here it is simply a grey panel with louvres.

The specific limitation: the panel gaps are shallow. On a car with this many straight edges and creases, you would ideally see crisp shut lines separating the bonnet, doors and rear deck, and instead the casting relies on shallow recessed lines that catch light only from certain angles. Viewed straight on under flat lighting, the car can look like one continuous grey shape rather than assembled panels. Under a raking light it reads properly and looks much better, so how you light the shelf matters more with this model than with most.

There is a second thing worth knowing. The white tyre lettering and the fine red script on the body are printed, and printed white on black rubber is the least durable marking on any 1/64 car. Rolling the model across a surface will wear it. Keep it on the shelf, handle it by the body, and leave the wing alone as a grip point. Display piece for ages 14 and over.

Gift Angle

This one is for the collector who is tired of bright colours. If someone on your list has a shelf of red, orange and yellow cars and has started saying they want something quieter, a flat grey wedge with small red marks is exactly the right answer, and it will stand out in that collection precisely because it does not shout. It also appeals to the person who likes boxy, angular designs more than curvy ones — the appeal here is shape and proportion, not decoration.

It is an easy model to give because it is neutral enough to suit almost any shelf or desk without clashing, and it does not need a scene to look finished. The trade-off is that it is less of an instant crowd-pleaser than a bright car: the recipient who knows the model will be delighted, and the recipient who does not may take a moment to see what makes it interesting. If you want the reaction to land immediately, pair it with a night-street scene so the grey has something dark to sit against. Ages 14 and over.

Frequently asked questions

Is the body white or grey?

Grey, and a light warm grey rather than a neutral one. It reads as off-white next to a true white surface, which is part of why the small red graphics carry as much visual weight as they do.

How much of the model's height is the wing?

A fair amount. The body sits at roughly 2.1 cm at the highest point including the wing, and the roof itself is noticeably lower than that. The wing is the tallest structure on the casting.

Is the number and lettering on the sill legible?

The block number and the main white lettering are readable. The second line of smaller script beneath it is printed as texture at 1/64 and is not legible without magnification.

Do the doors or the rear deck open?

No. The shell is a sealed casting with fixed panels and non-steering wheels. Everything is permanently in place.

Which scene suits a pale grey car?

Something dark or textured. The Corner Izakaya night street gives the best contrast, and the Container Auto Repair Garage suits the car thematically and gives enough height clearance for the wing.

Will the white tyre lettering rub off?

It can. Printed white on tyre rubber is the least durable marking on the model, so keep it on a shelf rather than rolling it across a surface, and handle it by the body.
