About this diorama
Almost every 1/64 scene is designed to sit flat and be looked down at. This one is 29.7 cm tall on a 35 x 20 cm base, which makes it the tallest piece in the entire range — and that single dimension changes how you use it. You do not put it on a shelf and forget it. You put it somewhere it can stand up and be seen from across the room.
That is the whole argument for the PUNK Parking Lot, and it is also its one real cost. A 29.7 cm vertical piece needs 29.7 cm of clear air above it. A standard bookcase shelf will not take it. Neither will the gap under a monitor riser, and neither will a display case built for cars. What it wants is the top of a cabinet, a desk with nothing hung above it, the top shelf, or a corner of a room where the wall is empty. If you have a spot like that, this is the piece that makes that spot worth having.
Why vertical beats horizontal
Height is what makes a mini scene photographable. A flat lot shot from eye level is a slim band of colour across the frame; the cars are lost in it and the structure reads as a mat. A 29.7 cm vertical structure gives you a frame with something in it — an edge, a profile, a mass against a wall — and the same twelve cars suddenly have somewhere to climb.
It also packs more display into less shelf. The base is 35 x 20 cm, which is a large but workable footprint; because the piece rises instead of spreading, the cars are stacked through the vertical plane rather than pushed outward. On a crowded cabinet that is the difference between adding one more car and adding six.
The style matters as much as the size. PUNK is a deliberately less tidy build than the clean Japanese lots — less symmetry, more attitude, a structure that looks used rather than photographed for a catalogue. If your collection is GT3 racers and polished JDM, that aesthetic contrast is the point. If you want everything on the shelf to match, this will be the piece that does not, and that is worth deciding before you order rather than after.
Pairing it with cars
True 1/64 covers it: Mini GT, Inno64, Tarmac Works and Kaido House all sit between 6.8 and 7.4 cm long and under 2.2 cm tall, so they place correctly at every level of the structure. Hot Wheels mainline castings run closer to 1/62–1/68 with a possible 2.4 cm roof, and on a tall multi-tier piece that is a real variable — measure the tallest car first if mainline is most of your collection, or place it low and keep true 1/64 up top.
Because this is a 29.7 cm structure, a decent number of cars can share it. Six to ten, staggered across the levels, is where it starts to look populated without looking like a car park at a supermarket. Fewer than four and the height feels empty; past a dozen it stops reading as a composition.
Where it does not work
Worth stating plainly. This is not a desk piece for a small desk, it is not a shelf filler, and it will not go inside a cabinet built for a 1/64 collection. It weighs 1034.5 g, which is stable on a flat surface but counts against you if you want to move it regularly — carrying a 30 cm object around a room by hand is a two-hands job. Plan for the position first, decide whether you have the vertical clearance, and only then buy it. Of the seven parking pieces in this batch, this is the one where the room decides for you.

Gift Angle
The safe gift is a car; the memorable one is the object that made someone rearrange a room. A 29.7 cm structure is unmissable in the way a small lot is not — it gets an instant reaction when it comes out of the box, it looks like more than $64.99 worth of object in the hand, and it gives the recipient a reason to clear a corner and set up a display properly. For someone whose collection has been sitting in a plastic tub for two years, this is the piece that gets it out.

Frequently asked questions
How much vertical clearance does it need?
29.7 cm of clear air directly above the base, with a little margin for reaching in. That rules out most bookcase shelves and typical monitor riser gaps. The top of a low cabinet, a desk with an empty wall behind it, or an upper shelf with nothing above it all work.
Is it too tall to look right on a desk?
It dominates a desk, and that is a fair description rather than a warning. At 29.7 cm it is roughly the height of a large coffee mug twice over, so it will be the tallest thing on the surface. If a desk is your only option, put it at one end rather than behind a keyboard.
Does it fit true 1/64 and Hot Wheels cars?
True 1/64 fits at every level. Hot Wheels mainline cars are around 1/62–1/68 and can reach 2.4 cm tall, so check the tallest one against whatever overhead structure it sits under, and keep the biggest models on the open lower levels.
How heavy is it, and does that matter?
1034.5 g. On a stable surface that is a benefit — it will not shift. It matters when moving it, because it is a two-hand object, and the base should sit fully on a surface rather than half off an edge.
Is assembly or wiring required?
No. It arrives ready to display out of a sealed colour box, with no glue, no parts to fit and nothing to plug in. Inside the carton it is protected by a rigid outer box with corner guards, which matters on a tall structure that could take a knock in transit. Cars and figures are not included and are sold separately.
Why buy a display scene instead of another car?
$64.99 buys one very good model or a whole display. A model adds one more item to a row you already have; a 29.7 cm scene changes what the row looks like. Most people who collect for a few years eventually stop wanting more cars and start wanting somewhere to put them — and the taller the scene, the more it does for the shelf it lands on.
